Dr. Thomas M. Taylor, Grand Beauty Spa Medical Director
Dr. Taylor is a board certified Dermatologist who treats a full range of medical and aesthetic dermatology patients and clients. Dr. Taylor specializes in skin cancer, dermatological surgery and cosmetic beauty and laser therapies including cosmetic fillers. Dr. Taylor is committed to enhancing and providing customized treatment to each individual for improving their desired self-image.
Melinda Marian, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner
Melinda Marian is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner and has been with the Grand Beauty Spa since its opening in April, 2007.
Melinda has over 14 years of experience as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. Melinda has extensive training and experience with Lasers and has performed thousands of treatments.
As well as laser experience, Melinda also has had specialized training in the administration of Botox and Fillers.
Prior to moving to Tampa in 1996, Melinda completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Niagara University and the State University of New York in Buffalo.

Rita Claudia Schrager-Morosani Aesthetician
Rita-Claudia’s accent reflects her upbringing in Switzerland. She is from the German-speaking Zurich, but was educated mostly in the French part of Switzerland.
She has been involved in modeling and beauty since she was twelve years old. She met her American Diplomat Husband in Vienna, Austria and traveled with him to Bolivia before they settled here in Tampa seven years ago.
Rita-Claudia has been with Carmen since The Grand opened in 2007. She is an Aesthetician who specializes in a unique style of facials which has brought her an increasing clientele who appreciate her unique blend of sophisticated treatment. Her repertoire also consist of expert body treatments, relaxation, increased energy and slimming and firming.
Bruce Harburg LMT, Licensed Massage Therapist MA 3840
Bruce received his Florida State Massage License in May of 1981 after attending the Suncoast School of Massage Therapy in Tampa. He was the original therapist at the Hyatt Regency Tampa and at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando where he spent many years as the lead therapist.
As a student of bodywork, Bruce has invested many hours studying and practicing new techniques in an attempt to perfect his style.
He has studied extensively with Aaron Mattes to learn his Active Isolated Stretching method (Stretchingusa.com) volunteering in his Sarasota clinic and is an associate seminar instructor.
Bruce continues to study Neuro Muscular Therapy with Judith Delaney at the NMT Center in St. Petersburg, and ETPS Electro Trigger Point Stimulation with Dr. Bruce Hocking and has had the honor of studying Hand and Foot Reflexology with the immortal Dwight Byers at the International Institute of Reflexology.
Additional areas of study include, MyoFascial Release, Hot Stone Massage, Orthopedic Massage, Crainio Structural Release, Sports Massage, and Seated or Chair Massage.
As a Massage Therapy Instructor at Everest University, Bruce was constantly challenging his students to perfect their techniques and to excel at their craft.
Over his many thousands of hands on hours, Bruce has developed a style that he calls “Non Invasive – Deep Tissue, Relaxation Therapy” where he mixes Swedish, Neuro Muscular, Triggerpoint, Myofascial, Sports Massage and Reflexology along with Active Isolated Stretching to create an experience that is unique to each individual client.
In Bruce’s words, “My job is to help you forget about the world for the time that we are together and to help you feel better when you leave than you did when you arrived. My goal is that you not only have the best massage that you have ever received, but a most memorable life experience as well.”
Kimberly Bowe LMT, Licensed Massage Therapist
I am very passionate about my connection with massage therapy and how my work can relax as well as be therapeutic, enhancing each persons well being. I am a graduate of the The Humanities Center, licensed in Florida and Nationally since 2003. I have been working in the massage field for nearly 8 years.
My training includes an Advanced Certification in Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy. I am certified in Active Isolated Stretching Techniques, Deep Tissue, Swedish and Myofascial Release Massage Therapy. Other modalities that I am experienced in as well as passionate about include sports massage, trigger point therapy, pregnancy massage, hot stone massage, cupping therapies and body treatments including exfoliation and soothing, slimming and detoxifying body wraps.
I have also been a Certified Teacher since 1993, graduating from USF and taking extra classes at UT. My certification includes Learning Disabled, Emotionally Handicapped and Physical Education. Although not currently teaching, I still hold my Florida Teaching License, having taught in the Hillsborough County area for 8 years.
I have always worked in a busy spa atmosphere and that is what I enjoy the most. I love working at The Grand and hope you will come treat yourself this year to our spa, experiencing our zen atmosphere and luxurious treatments.

Stewart Pittman, Hair Stylist and Make-up Artist
Born and raised in Naples, FL, Stewart moved to California where she attended college and started a career in Marketing & Advertising for various magazines in New York City. She started doing makeup as a hobby and eventually trained to become a makeup artist.
Stewart worked as a freelance Makeup Artist for Smashbox Cosmetics in San Francisco and New York City for events such as Fashion Week and celebrity charity events where she styled clients such as Annette Bening and Maroon 5. Realizing that the beauty industry is what she loved she went back to school to get her Cosmetology degree to become a hairstylist.
In addition to her work in the salon, she specializes in weddings and private events.

Stewart continues to travel for training from stylists like Beth Minardi of New York, Martin Parsons and Nick Arroyo. Her education includes Chris Scott School of Makeup Artistry, San Francisco & Bonita Springs Cosmetology Academy.
Krysta Coggins, Beauty Stylist
Krysta began her career in 2004 at Posh Salon & Spa as support staff while she attended cosmetology school at Cutting Edge Academy in South Tampa. She then spent seventeen months assisting Delia Lee, a seasoned veteran in the business with over 25 years of experience.
Upon graduating from the continuing education program at Posh, Krysta moved to The Grand Beauty Spa and worked diligently to build her client base. She believes that there is always something new to learn and education is the key to maintaining a fabulously stylish clientele. She travels around the country to train with top celebrity stylists such as Beth Minardi at Minardi Salon in NYC, Kattia Solano at Butterfly Studio, Shu Uemura Atilier Specialist for Editorial Hair Looks and HA Advanced Haircutting Design with Rick Cooper.
Her education includes SOHO Academy NYC, Redken 5th Ave. NYC, as well as local classes by Redken and L’Oreal Professional.
Krysta is also a certified Great Lengths Extension Specialist. She prides herself on seamlessly blending and perfectly color-matching her clients hair extensions. She tells her clients, “when someone who you have never told you have extensions compliments you, get back in my chair immediately!”
Krysta’s outlook on beauty is simple, “always make the client feel beautiful inside as well as out”. She also likes to give her clients “Victoria’s Secret” hair. “I love to get inspiration from everywhere including the look of natural sun-kissed hair that children have in the summer. Hair is an art and everything is connected.”
